As part of CNS’ commitment to being a good corporate citizen, for the last three years’ it has run a competition with local school students from Capenhurst and Ellesmere Port to design the front cover of a charity Christmas card. After the competition, all participating schools receive a pack of Christmas cards, incorporating the winning design, which they are then encouraged to sell and donate the proceeds to a charity of their choice.
This year the theme was ‘Christmas stories’ to inspire students to get creative and produce a design based on their favourite festive tails.
CNS is delighted to announce that Tru, aged 10, from Westminster Community Primary School, who produced a beautiful ‘Nutcracker’ design, was awarded the top prize of a £50 Amazon gift voucher and additional gift vouchers for her school.
Alongside Tru’s overall winning design – runner-up designs were submitted by Lexi, aged 4 and Olivia, aged 8, both from Westminster School. From Capenhurst Primary - Ellie , aged 7, Milla, aged 7 and Daisy, aged 6. From Woodlands Primary School - Emmee, aged 5, Alice, aged 5 and Olivia, aged 6.
All of the winning designs have been selected by CNS as the company’s corporate Christmas cards, to be sent out to stakeholders and customers over the festive period.
CNS Managing Director, David Slater said:
“Many congratulations to Tru and a big thank you to all those who participated. It is an absolute pleasure to be part of the judging panel and to review all of the fantastic pieces of artwork submitted by the children”.
